A State Called Moses
It is God who became man that man may become God. Knowing that he had the power to die and overcome death, God died. Now he must overcome death, and he will.
The ultimate purpose of God's plan is for God, who voluntarily limited Himself by becoming man, to awaken within man and realize His divine identity, thereby overcoming the illusion of death and separation.
By Water And By Blood
So the mystery is God became man that man may become God - so He came down as man. Take the same verse and give it a higher interpretation. So here God died yes, to become man. The death of God is complete forgetfulness of the fact that He is God. He had to completely forget that He is God, and therefore die to awaken as man. If he remembered He was God He just couldn't be man, but a complete and utter death, which is complete forgetfulness, that I am God, to become man. So the poet wrote it beautifully and said, God became man that man may become God. Then he asked unless I die you could not live, but if I die I shall arise again and you with me. Then he goes on to ask man, could you love one who had never died for thee or could you die for one who had not died for thee, and so he is putting this into the most wonderful poetical mystery in the book Jerusalem, by Blake; so he reveals to the mind who can see it, that you who believe yourself because you are visible and you must do what man passively must do: he traces your origin back to a germ. As long as you began as a germ, you are no more than a big germ. If you begin as something else you are only something enlarged of the same thing. For all ends run true to origins. If I can take you back where you cannot see it and take you back to the great mystery that you are actually begotten of God, if your origin is God, your end is God.
This core mystical truth explains that God 'died' by completely forgetting His divine identity to become man, enabling man to eventually awaken and realize his own divine nature as God. This process ensures that man's origin as God dictates his ultimate destiny as God, rather than a mere biological origin.
Divine Signs
But because God became Man that Man may become God, every attribute of God - whether it be faith, called Abraham, or the power and wisdom of God, called Jesus Christ - was personified.
God descended into humanity, embodying all divine attributes in human form, so that humanity could awaken to its own divine nature and become God. This is the purpose of the incarnation.
Family Portrait
God literally became you, that you may become God! And the God that became you is your own wonderful human imagination, and that is the Divine Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, so, if that does not offend you, then take that, My Dear.”
The ultimate purpose of creation is for God to fully embody humanity, so that humanity, through its own wonderful human imagination (the Divine Body of Christ), can realize and become God.
I Am In You
We are dealing with a cosmic principle, where God actually became man that man may become God.
This is the fundamental cosmic principle and purpose of existence: God voluntarily entered human form and experience so that humanity could ultimately awaken to and embody its divine nature.
Is Christ Your Imagination
Now who is Jesus? If Christ is the power and the wisdom of God, and God sunk himself in us, that was his sacrifice. He actually became us that we may live; for were it not for this sacrifice of God, to actually limit himself to the state called “man,” man would – like the earth – wear out like a garment. As we are told in Isaiah 51:6: “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and they who dwell in it will do likewise; but my salvation will be for ever and my deliverance will never be ended.” That word “salvation” means Jesus. The word “Jesus” is “Jehovah saves.” That is salvation. That is forever. Were it not that God became man that man may become God, to save man and lift him up to immortality, because the promise is: “The earth will wear out like a garment.”
God's ultimate sacrifice was to limit Himself and become man, thereby saving humanity from eventual decay and enabling man to ascend to immortality and become God. This divine act of self-limitation is the essence of salvation, embodied in Jesus.
Live In The End
I don’t think you’d be here if you did not believe in God, and the God to whom all things are possible. But maybe we stop right there, and we separate man from God, and my purpose is to show you that we are not two, that we are One – that God actually became man, that man may become God.
This is a core tenet of Neville's teaching: God voluntarily descended into humanity, becoming man, so that man, through the awakening of his divine imagination, can ultimately ascend and realize his true identity as God.
Persistent Assumption
You must believe that God actually became you that you may become God - for he did. His name is I am and unless you say within yourself: "I am what I want to be" and believe it, you will remain saying within yourself: "I wish I were what I want to be" and die in your frustration (your sin).
Neville teaches that God deliberately became humanity so that humanity could ultimately realize its own divine nature and become God. This transformation is achieved through believing and affirming 'I am what I want to be,' rather than remaining in a state of wishing or frustration ('sin').
Self In Self And Risen
He gave up all that is His to enter this world of death. He isn’t pretending that He is man. He actually became man, that man may become God.
Neville teaches that God genuinely became man, sacrificing His divine state to enter the world of death, with the ultimate purpose of enabling man to fully realize and become God.
Test Him And See
He actually became humanity, that humanity might become God! That’s the story and it’s not talk; but I am telling you what I know from my own wonderful human experience. ... So, God is not pretending that He is man. He became man! He became man, that man may become God! That’s the only way that God could actually extend His own Being – His wonderful Being.
This is the central mystery: God willingly descended into human form, forgetting His infinite power and taking on limitations, so that through this experience, humanity could ultimately awaken and realize its true identity as God, thereby extending God's own being.
The Art Of Dying
For God had to “forget” he was God to become man, and that whittling down to this level is [the] very limit of contraction. But then comes the awakening from that deep dream into which he threw himself to make me alive. So this lifting-up power goes about setting men free, for God became every man, that every man may in time awaken as God. Eventually the whole [world] will awaken and the poem will be in full bloom and it will be noble beyond our wildest dreams. And then it will exist for us and we will be one with the creator of the great poem. That is [the] art of dying.
This is the core of 'The Promise.' God voluntarily 'forgot' His divine nature and contracted Himself to become man, entering a 'deep dream' of limitation, specifically to make man alive and to allow man to eventually awaken as God. This process of awakening is the ultimate purpose, leading to the realization of man's divine identity and unity with the Creator.
The Identical Harvest
Why? Because God became man, that man may become God! He actually became as I am, that I may be as He is! He’s not pretending that He’s Neville; He actually became Neville. He’s not pretending that He is you; He actually became you. And in you, He is your own wonderful human imagination, and one day you will know it. ... The Incarnation took place at Calvary, not at Bethlehem. When God became man, that’s Calvary. That is the Incarnation, and He is not pretending. He had to completely empty Himself of all wisdom and all knowledge, and all power to become us! At Bethlehem, we become as He is. That’s the mystery.
This is the core mystery of the Incarnation: God fully descended into humanity, emptying Himself to become every individual (Calvary), so that every individual may ultimately awaken to their true divine identity as God (Bethlehem). This process is not a pretense but a complete transformation.
The Power And The Wisdom
God the Father actually – literally – became you, that you may become God! And you look at His Son – His only begotten Son, and you know he is your son, and he knows you are his father, and then you realize the gift that was given and bestowed upon you.
The ultimate divine gift is the realization that God the Father literally incarnated as humanity, enabling each individual to awaken to their true identity as God, recognizing David as their own son.
The Seven Eyes Of God
Then you see that God became man, that man, awakening, may become God. God contracts Himself to this very limit of opacity, so that living in this state may be called the very grave of man, and “God enters death’s door with them that enter, and lies down in the grave with them, in visions of Eternity until they awake.” (Blake) ... For God became man that man may become God. So this wonderful poem that existed only for God is beginning to exist for itself. Sentients begin to appear in the poem, lifting it to higher states and we become at last creators, one of an infinite society of gods.
God voluntarily limited Himself and entered the human state (the 'grave of man') so that man, through awakening, could realize his divine nature and become God. This process involves man's consciousness evolving through various 'eyes' or states, ultimately becoming a conscious creator.
What Is Truth 01
So, the story is that the pattern, called Jesus Christ, is buried in us. And He will not fail; He will unfold the pattern in us, and the pattern is the story of man becoming God. So, God became man, that man may become God!
The ultimate purpose of existence is a divine exchange: God voluntarily descended into human form (became man) so that humanity, through the unfolding of the Christ pattern within, can ascend and realize its true identity as God.
Who Am I
God became Man that Man may become God.
This fundamental truth explains the divine purpose behind humanity's journey: God, the infinite consciousness, voluntarily limited Himself and entered the human experience (became Man) so that Man, through this journey and subsequent awakening, could realize and return to their true identity as God.
Who Am I 01
God became man, that man may become God.
This is the core purpose of the divine drama: God voluntarily descended into human form and experience (the "Fall") so that humanity, through its journey and awakening, could ultimately realize and embody its full divine potential as God.
Yours For The Taking
God became as we are that we may become as He is. No one took God's life. He laid it down himself saying: "I have the power to lay it down and the power to lift it up again. The fall into fragmented space was deliberate. And He who fell has the power to gather us all together, one by one, into that single body who is all love. His body is above the organization of sex. In it there is no Greek, no Jew, no bond, no free, no male, no female. When you wear it you understand Paul's statement: "I consider the sufferings of this present time not worth comparing to the glory that has been revealed in me." In that body you know yourself to be the real Man, and this fleshly body as nothing. You will realize that you were never male or female, but have always been God.
God voluntarily descended into human form and its limitations, a deliberate act of self-sacrifice, so that humanity could awaken to its true divine nature and realize its identity as God, transcending all earthly distinctions, suffering, and physical limitations.
Pre-existence
“God became man, that man may become God.” [Blake, from “Jerusalem”] What we read in the Bible concerning Jesus is all about you. It’s your biography. The Old Testament is the prophetic blueprint of the life of Jesus, and the story of Jesus as told in the New Testament, which is the fulfillment of the Old, is your story. And the day will come when you will experience everything recorded in the New Testament concerning Jesus Christ, – but everything.
This teaching, attributed to Blake, encapsulates the entire purpose of creation. God (the divine Self) willingly descended into the limitations of human form, experiencing 'death,' so that man (the contracted divine Self) could eventually awaken and realize his true identity as God. The Bible, particularly the New Testament, is the personal biography and future experience of every individual's journey to becoming God.
The Pattern Of Scripture Is Real
It is God’s pledge to Himself; that God became man, that man may become God. We are actually backed up against Infinity – our brain; and the drama takes place, may I tell you? in the brain of man.
The entire divine drama is God's self-imposed journey into humanity, where He buries Himself in man to experience all states, ultimately awakening as man, thereby elevating man to the state of God.
