Assumptions Harden Into Facts

There is but one gift that is truly yours to give, and that is yourself. There is no other gift; you must press it out of yourself by an appropriation. It is there within you now for creation is finished. There is nothing to be that is not now. There is nothing to be created for all things are already yours, they are all finished.

All of creation is already complete and exists in the present moment within consciousness. There is nothing new to create, only to appropriate and express what already is.

Consciousness

According to the Bible, creation is finished. Not only is creation finished, but God said it was good. ... If creation is finished, how is it possible to pray to God to create something in your life that did not exist yesterday or today? ... Creation is finished and it is good! God created the earth and all that is in it and God said it was good. ... Since creation is finished, every possible state already exists. Your fusion with a particular state (imagining with feeling what you would experience were you in that state) causes that state to be projected on your screen of space. ... God can create nothing that is not already existent.

All of creation, including every possible state and experience, is already complete and exists. Therefore, God does not create new things, but rather, we select and experience existing states by fusing with them through imagination and feeling.

Faith

You aren’t called upon to make the things. All things already are. The whole, vast creation is already finished; I am only becoming aware of it. Any state that I can imagine can be occupied. The whole thing is finished, and all I do is adjust to it and “feel” myself there until it becomes natural.

The entire creation, including all possible states and desires, already exists in a finished state. Man's role is not to create something new, but to become aware of and occupy a desired state by adjusting his consciousness and feeling himself into that reality until it feels natural.

Q&a 1948 Lessons

Creation is finished! It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. The parable of the prodigal son is your answer. In spite of man's waste, when he comes to his senses and remembers who he is, he feeds on the fatted calf of abundance and wears the robe and ring of authority. There is nothing to earn. Creation was finished in the foundation of time. You, as man, are God made visible for the purpose of displaying what is, not what is to be. Do not think you must work out your salvation by the sweat of your brow. It is not four months until the harvest, the fields are already white, simply thrust in the sickle. If you observe an event before it occurs, then the occurring event must be predetermined from the point of view of being awake in this three-dimensional world. Yet, you do not have to encounter what you observe. You can, by changing your concept of self, interfere with your future and mold it in harmony with your changed concept of self. No. You, by changing your concept of self, change your relationship to things. If you rearrange the words of a play to write a different one, you have not created new words, but simply had the joy of rearranging them. Your concept of self determines the order of events you encounter. They are in the foundation of the world, but not their order of arrangement.

The concept 'Creation is Finished' means that all possible states, events, and experiences already exist in the foundation of the world. There is nothing new to create, only to appropriate or rearrange. Man does not earn his desires; they are freely given by the Father. While events are predetermined in a sense, man's free will lies in changing his concept of self, which then determines the order and selection of events he encounters from the already existing possibilities.

Release Barabbas And Crucify Jesus

Ecclesiastes 3: “I am the beginning and the end” and “there is nothing to come that has not been and is.” Creation is finished. We are only becoming aware of increasing portions of that which is. If everything is, am I still creative? I am in this sense: I become a selector of that aspect of reality to which I want to respond and then I bring that into my world.

All of creation, including every possible state and event, is already complete and exists in its entirety. Man's creativity lies not in creating something new, but in selecting and becoming aware of specific aspects of this finished reality and bringing them into his personal experience.

Seedtime And Harvest

for Creation is finished. Every conceivable human drama, every little plot, every little plan in the drama of life is already worked out, as mere possibilities while we are not in them, but they are overpoweringly real when we are in them. So man can get in touch with that particular state of his choice, for my imagination can put me in touch inwardly with the state desired so I and in it. If I am in it I will realize it in my world.

The teaching that creation is finished means that all possible states, events, and experiences already exist as possibilities. Man's role is not to create something new, but to select and enter into a desired state through imagination, thereby bringing it into his experience.

Where Are You From

I couldn't answer him; because how could I tell him that creation is finished? How could I tell him that this is a drama, and it is finished? That because it is animated, blood flows instead of tomato juice (as it does on the stage). But having had the experience of arresting in me an activity which animated the scene I saw, I know that it is no more than that on the stage. ... But everything is here and that bullet in the brain of Kennedy is part of the eternal structure of God's world, and God conceived it. And so is the one who pulled it [the trigger] - God conceived it. And that's a part to be played - and played over and over and over.

Neville teaches that creation is a finished drama, meaning all events, past, present, and future, are already conceived and laid out in the eternal structure of God's world. What we perceive as unfolding reality is merely the animation of this pre-existing divine play, with every detail, including tragic ones, being a part to be played.

How To Manifest Your Desires

There is all the difference in the world between holding the idea, and being held by the idea. Become so dominated by an idea that it haunts the mind as though you were it. Then, regardless of what others may say, you are walking in the direction of your fixed attitude of mind. You are walking in the direction of the idea that dominates the mind. As we told you last night, you have but one gift that is truly yours to give, and that is yourself. There is no other gift; you must press it out of yourself by an appropriation. It is there within you now for creation is finished. There is nothing to be that is not now. There is nothing to be created for all things are already yours, they are all finished.

All of creation is already complete and exists in the 'now'. Man's role is not to create something new, but to appropriate (assume) and embody what already exists within his consciousness. The key is to be so dominated by an idea that it becomes one's fixed attitude.

Neville teaches that all of creation, including all possible states and desires, is already finished and exists in the foundation of time. There is nothing new to create, only states to appropriate. This means one does not 'earn' their desires through effort or struggle, but rather claims what is already given. The parable of the prodigal son illustrates this: even after 'waste,' the son is immediately given abundance upon remembering his true identity.

The Creative Use Of Imagination

You see, creation is finished, and we only become aware of increasing portions of it. The absence of faith would be to deny the reality of the state assumed. If you limit yourself to your physical senses which contradict everything you desire, then faith will be unknown to you. But faith will make real that which is invisible.

Creation is already complete; individuals merely become aware of different aspects of this finished creation. Faith is the awareness of the reality of an assumed state, even when it is invisible or contradicted by physical senses, making the invisible real.

Radio Lectures

Creation is finished and what we call creativeness is really only a deeper receptiveness or keener susceptibility on our part, and this receptiveness is "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts."

Creation is already complete; what appears as 'creativeness' is actually a heightened state of receptivity or susceptibility to what already exists. It is not an act of forceful will but a surrender to the divine spirit.
