Rising to a Higher Level of Consciousness
To transcend present limitations and accomplish desired 'works,' one must drop the current level of consciousness and rise to a higher one. This is achieved…
Step by step
- Identify your present level of consciousness and its limitations.
- Identify the higher level of consciousness or desired state.
- Take your attention away from present limitations.
- Place your attention positively and firmly upon that which you desire to be.
- Claim yourself to be the desired thing: 'I AM that.'
- Accept your desire as already fulfilled, without sacrifice or human tricks.
- Identify the desired state of being.
- Affirm internally that you are already that which you want to be.
- Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
- Persist in this psychological transformation until your consciousness is elevated.

To transcend present limitations and accomplish desired 'works,' one must drop the current level of consciousness and rise to a higher one. This is achieved by positively claiming 'I AM that' (the desired thing), shifting attention from limitations to the desire, without struggle or external methods.
Man fails to do the works of Jesus Christ because he attempts to accomplish them from his present level of consciousness. You will never transcend your present accomplishments through sacrifice and struggle. Your present level of consciousness will only be transcended as you drop the present state and rise to a higher level. You rise to a higher level of consciousness by taking your attention away from your present limitations and placing it upon that which you desire to be. Do not attempt this in day-dreaming or wishful thinking but in a positive .manner. Claim yourself to be the thing desired. I AM that; no sacrifice, no diet, no human tricks. All that is asked of you is to accept your desire. If you dare claim it, you will express it.
True transformation comes from an internal shift in consciousness, not external effort. The key is to accept and claim the desired state as present reality.

To change one's present circumstances, one must elevate their consciousness to a higher level. This is achieved by affirming that the desired state is already a present reality and by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, leading to a radical psychological transformation.
To change the present state we, like Dr. Millikan, must rise to a higher level of consciousness. This rise is accomplished by affirming that we are already that which we want to be; by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled. The drama of life is a psychological one which we bring to pass by our attitudes rather than by our acts. There is no escape from our present predicament except by a radical psychological transformation.
Changing external reality is a psychological process, not merely an act. It requires an internal shift in one's attitude and self-concept, moving to a higher state of consciousness where the desired reality is already accepted as true.
