Enter The Dream

A practice of closing one's eyes, seeing an image in the mind's eye, and then consciously allowing one's awareness or 'consciousness to follow vision' and step into that imagined scene, experiencing it as a three-dimensional reality.

I have sat in a chair or rested on a bed with my eyes closed as in sleep and seen what I could not see if the lids were open. Knowing exactly where I was and what I was doing, I allowed consciousness to follow vision and stepped into that image which closed itself around me as I set out to explore that world.

This technique allows one to move beyond mere mental visualization into a full, immersive experience of an imagined reality, demonstrating the power of consciousness to inhabit and explore different states.

The Bible Your Biography

To manifest a desire, create a vivid mental image of the desired outcome. Contemplate this image until consciousness follows the vision, allowing you to "walk into" and experience the image as if it were real. This act plants the seed, which will then unfold in its own appointed time.

Here you can take an image – the image of your success if you want success, the image of your awakening if you want it – any image, and then you contemplate it. And maybe you will see it as I am seeing you now, and then consciousness may (and I hope it will) follow your vision, and you will walk right into that image and it will close around you, closing around you just as I did this. And you have planted it. You entered that age, as it were, and fertilized it; and bear in mind it is the image, and the vision has its own appointed hour. Don’t try to hasten it – it ripens, it will flower. But if for you – because you were impatient – it seems slow, then wait, it will not be late, not for itself nor to a world, unless they are the same species and would ripen in the same interval of time.

By fully immersing oneself in an imaginal scene, one plants the seed of that reality. The key is to then allow it to unfold naturally without impatience, trusting its appointed time.

The Secret Of Imagining

To make a desired state real, one must select it from their imagination and then 'enter into it' mentally, making it feel as real as their current physical surroundings, using contemplative thought.

I single out, out of my own wonderful human imagination, that which I want to make real. It’s all in you. Then I must enter into it as I have entered into this room. “If the spectator would enter into any one of these images in his imagination, approaching it on the fiery chariot of his own contemplative thought” (from “Visions of the Last Judgment” by William Blake), it would become just as real to him as this room.

By fully immersing oneself in an imagined scene as if it were physically real, the subjective experience gains objective reality and will manifest in the future.
