- Believe literally that all things are possible to you.
- Believe that you are what you want to be right now.

- Assume the feeling and state of already possessing your desire, despite sensory evidence to the contrary.

Believe every precept literally, for it will be fulfilled literally. Believe that all things are possible to you and that you are what you want to be. Persist in that assumption and it will harden into fact. Having assumed the life you now live, no one can take it from you but yourself! You have the power to lay it down by no longer being conscious of it, and the power to pick it up again through consciousness.
This technique is based on the understanding that consciousness is the only reality. By consciously assuming a desired state and persisting in that feeling, the individual directs their creative power to bring that state into being. One has the power to 'lay down' (release) an undesirable state by withdrawing consciousness from it, and 'pick up' (create) a desired state by focusing consciousness upon it.

Can you imagine that you have now the kind of a job that you want? The income that would come from it? The fun in the doing of the work? Well then walk as though it were true; and to the best of your ability believe that it’s true. And that assumption though denied by your senses, though the world would say it is false; if you persist in it, it will harden into fact. This is the law of your own wonderful imagining. Believe it, and it will become a reality.

To fulfill desires, assume the feeling of having them already. This assumption is the start of the creative dream. Despite sensory denial, persistent assumption will solidify the desired state into fact. Engage senses like touch and smell to give reality to the assumption.
Now, while you are still here you have needs which must be met and perhaps desires yet to be fulfilled, so I urge you to use the law by assuming that you have them, for your assumption is the beginning of your dream. Although your reasonable mind and your outer senses deny it your persistence will harden your assumption into fact. I have watched it happen unnumbered times. Your noble dreams will not interfere with the basic dream that is taking place in you, so take your wonderful dreams and persist in them. Walk as though they were true. Try to touch them and give them reality. If you can use the sense of odor try to detect it.

You can assume, “I am rich,” and not have a nickel in the bank; in fact, you don’t have a bank account. You can assume, “I am rich, and feel what it would be like if it were true. Now that assumption is a false statement if, at the moment of the assumption, your senses deny it and your reason denies it. So, that is false. Your Bible teaches that it is true if you persist in the assumption; that the assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact. This is based upon the simple, simple statement that “Imagining creates reality;” that the true being called Jesus Christ is the human imagination. And all things are possible to Christ.
