Here we see the Law of the Identical Harvest, and you and I will not in Eternity violate it. We try to. Man has tried through the years to break this law. We are told, “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” (Galatians 6:7, RSV1) ... So, in the beginning it was established that all things will bring forth after their kind. ... You can’t plant one thing and reap another.
This is an unbreakable divine law stating that whatever one sows (in imagination, thought, or feeling), that is precisely what one will reap in their physical reality. It means that effects always correspond to their causes, and one cannot escape the consequences of their inner creative acts.
The Identical Harvest
In the very beginning, God established the Law of the Identical Harvest. And God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation: Plants bearing seed and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, and it was so.” (Genesis 1:24) ... So, do not try for one moment to deceive yourself. All that is taking place in your world; you planted. There is only one Planter in the world, and the Planter is God, but man looks for God outside of himself, and we are warned that He is within us. ... Your every imaginal act is the planting of a seed, and the harvest is nothing more than the multiplication of the identical seed. You cannot change it.
This is an eternal, unchangeable law established by God, meaning that every seed (imaginal act) produces a harvest identical to its kind. Man, as God (the Planter within), is responsible for everything that manifests in his world, whether consciously or unconsciously.
