- 1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.Καὶ ἤκουσα ⸂μεγάλης φωνῆς⸃ ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ λεγούσης τοῖς ἑπτὰ ἀγγέλοις Ὑπάγετε καὶ ⸀ἐκχέετε τὰς ἑπτὰ φιάλας τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν
- 2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.Καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ πρῶτος καὶ ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐγένετο ἕλκος κακὸν καὶ πονηρὸν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ἔχοντας τὸ χάραγμα τοῦ θηρίου καὶ τοὺς προσκυνοῦντας τῇ εἰκόνι αὐτοῦ
- 3And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.Καὶ ὁ ⸀δεύτερος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα ὡς νεκροῦ καὶ πᾶσα ψυχὴ ⸀ζωῆς ⸀τὰ ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ
- 4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.Καὶ ὁ τρίτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ εἰς τοὺς ποταμοὺς ⸀καὶ τὰς πηγὰς τῶν ὑδάτων καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα
- 5And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.καὶ ἤκουσα τοῦ ἀγγέλου τῶν ὑδάτων λέγοντος Δίκαιος εἶ ὁ ὢν καὶ ὁ ἦν ⸀ὁ ὅσιος ὅτι ταῦτα ἔκρινας
- 6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.ὅτι αἷμα ἁγίων καὶ προφητῶν ἐξέχεαν καὶ αἷμα αὐτοῖς ⸀δέδωκας πιεῖν ἄξιοί εἰσιν
- 7And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.καὶ ἤκουσα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου λέγοντος Ναί κύριε ὁ θεός ὁ παντοκράτωρ ἀληθιναὶ καὶ δίκαιαι αἱ κρίσεις σου
- 8And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.Καὶ ὁ ⸀τέταρτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ἥλιον καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ καυματίσαι ⸂τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἐν πυρί⸃
- 9And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.καὶ ἐκαυματίσθησαν οἱ ἄνθρωποι καῦμα μέγα καὶ ⸀ἐβλασφήμησαν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ἔχοντος ⸀τὴν ἐξουσίαν ἐπὶ τὰς πληγὰς ταύτας καὶ οὐ μετενόησαν δοῦναι αὐτῷ δόξαν
- 10And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,Καὶ ὁ πέμπτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον τοῦ θηρίου καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς γλώσσας αὐτῶν ἐκ τοῦ πόνου
- 11And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.καὶ ἐβλασφήμησαν τὸν θεὸν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐκ τῶν πόνων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἑλκῶν αὐτῶν καὶ οὐ μετενόησαν ἐκ τῶν ἔργων αὐτῶν
- 12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.Καὶ ὁ ἕκτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ποταμὸν τὸν μέγαν ⸀τὸν Εὐφράτην καὶ ἐξηράνθη τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτοῦ ἵνα ἑτοιμασθῇ ἡ ὁδὸς τῶν βασιλέων τῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῆς ἡλίου
- 13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.καὶ εἶδον ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ δράκοντος καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ θηρίου καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος τοῦ ψευδοπροφήτου πνεύματα ⸂τρία ἀκάθαρτα⸃ ὡς βάτραχοι
- 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.εἰσὶν γὰρ πνεύματα δαιμονίων ποιοῦντα σημεῖα ἃ ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ τοὺς βασιλεῖς τῆς οἰκουμένης ὅλης συναγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν πόλεμον τῆς ⸀ἡμέρας τῆς μεγάλης τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ παντοκράτορος—
- 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.Ἰδοὺ ἔρχομαι ὡς κλέπτης μακάριος ὁ καὶ τηρῶν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἵνα μὴ γυμνὸς περιπατῇ καὶ βλέπωσιν τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτοῦ—
- 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.καὶ συνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Ἑβραϊστὶ
- 17And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.Καὶ ὁ ἕβδομος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ἀέρα— καὶ ἐξῆλθεν φωνὴ μεγάλη ⸀ἐκ τοῦ ⸀ναοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θρόνου λέγουσα Γέγονεν—
- 18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.καὶ ἐγένοντο ἀστραπαὶ καὶ ⸂φωναὶ καὶ βρονταί⸃ καὶ σεισμὸς ⸀ἐγένετο μέγας οἷος οὐκ ἐγένετο ἀφ’ οὗ ⸂ἄνθρωποι ἐγένοντο⸃ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τηλικοῦτος σεισμὸς μέγας
