  1. 1The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς πάλιν εἶπεν ⸂ἐν παραβολαῖς αὐτοῖς⸃ λέγων
  2. 2And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.Ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ ὅστις ἐποίησεν γάμους τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ
  3. 3Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ καλέσαι τοὺς κεκλημένους εἰς τοὺς γάμους καὶ οὐκ ἤθελον ἐλθεῖν
  4. 4But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:πάλιν ἀπέστειλεν ἄλλους δούλους λέγων Εἴπατε τοῖς κεκλημένοις Ἰδοὺ τὸ ἄριστόν μου ⸀ἡτοίμακα οἱ ταῦροί μου καὶ τὰ σιτιστὰ τεθυμένα καὶ πάντα ἕτοιμα δεῦτε εἰς τοὺς γάμους
  5. 5And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.οἱ δὲ ἀμελήσαντες ἀπῆλθον ⸀ὃς μὲν εἰς τὸν ἴδιον ἀγρόν ⸁ὃς δὲ ⸀ἐπὶ τὴν ἐμπορίαν αὐτοῦ
  6. 6But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.οἱ δὲ κρατήσαντες τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ ὕβρισαν καὶ ἀπέκτειναν
  7. 7Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.⸂ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς⸃ καὶ πέμψας τὰ στρατεύματα αὐτοῦ ἀπώλεσεν τοὺς φονεῖς ἐκείνους καὶ τὴν πόλιν αὐτῶν
  8. 8Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.τότε λέγει τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ Ὁ μὲν γάμος ἕτοιμός ἐστιν οἱ δὲ κεκλημένοι οὐκ ἦσαν ἄξιοι
  9. 9So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.πορεύεσθε οὖν ἐπὶ τὰς διεξόδους τῶν ὁδῶν καὶ ὅσους ⸀ἐὰν εὕρητε καλέσατε εἰς τοὺς γάμους
  10. 10And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:καὶ ἐξελθόντες οἱ δοῦλοι ἐκεῖνοι εἰς τὰς ὁδοὺς συνήγαγον πάντας ⸀οὓς εὗρον πονηρούς τε καὶ ἀγαθούς καὶ ὁ ⸀γάμος
  11. 11And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.εἰσελθὼν δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς θεάσασθαι τοὺς εἶδεν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπον οὐκ ἐνδεδυμένον ἔνδυμα γάμου
  12. 12Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Ἑταῖρε πῶς εἰσῆλθες ὧδε μὴ ἔχων ἔνδυμα γάμου ὁ δὲ ἐφιμώθη
  13. 13For many are called, but few are chosen.τότε ⸂ὁ βασιλεὺς εἶπεν⸃ τοῖς διακόνοις Δήσαντες αὐτοῦ πόδας καὶ χεῖρας ⸂ἐκβάλετε αὐτὸν⸃ εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων
  14. 14Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.πολλοὶ γάρ εἰσιν κλητοὶ ὀλίγοι δὲ ἐκλεκτοί
  15. 15And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.Τότε πορευθέντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι συμβούλιον ἔλαβον ὅπως αὐτὸν παγιδεύσωσιν ἐν λόγῳ
  16. 16Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?καὶ ἀποστέλλουσιν αὐτῷ τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτῶν μετὰ τῶν ⸀λέγοντες Διδάσκαλε ὅτι ἀληθὴς εἶ καὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν ἀληθείᾳ διδάσκεις καὶ οὐ σοι περὶ οὐδενός οὐ γὰρ βλέπεις εἰς πρόσωπον ἀνθρώπων
  17. 17But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?εἰπὸν οὖν ἡμῖν τί σοι δοκεῖ δοῦναι κῆνσον Καίσαρι ἢ
  18. 18Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.γνοὺς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτῶν εἶπεν Τί με πειράζετε ὑποκριταί
  19. 19And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?ἐπιδείξατέ μοι τὸ νόμισμα τοῦ κήνσου οἱ δὲ προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δηνάριον
  20. 20They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Τίνος ἡ εἰκὼν αὕτη καὶ ἡ ἐπιγραφή
  21. 21When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.λέγουσιν ⸀αὐτῷ Καίσαρος τότε λέγει αὐτοῖς Ἀπόδοτε οὖν τὰ Καίσαρος Καίσαρι καὶ τὰ τοῦ θεοῦ τῷ θεῷ
  22. 22The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,καὶ ἀκούσαντες ἐθαύμασαν καὶ ἀφέντες αὐτὸν ἀπῆλθαν
  23. 23Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.Ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ Σαδδουκαῖοι ⸀λέγοντες μὴ εἶναι ἀνάστασιν καὶ ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν
  24. 24Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:λέγοντες Διδάσκαλε εἶπεν Ἐάν μὴ ἔχων τέκνα ἐπιγαμβρεύσει ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀναστήσει σπέρμα τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ
  25. 25Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.ἦσαν δὲ παρ’ ἡμῖν ἑπτὰ ἀδελφοί καὶ ὁ πρῶτος ⸀γήμας ἐτελεύτησεν καὶ μὴ ἔχων σπέρμα ἀφῆκεν τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ
  26. 26And last of all the woman died also.ὁμοίως καὶ ὁ δεύτερος καὶ ὁ τρίτος ἕως τῶν ἑπτά
  27. 27Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.ὕστερον δὲ πάντων ⸀ἡ γυνή
  28. 28Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.ἐν τῇ ⸂ἀναστάσει οὖν⸃ τίνος τῶν ἑπτὰ ἔσται γυνή πάντες γὰρ ἔσχον αὐτήν
  29. 29For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Πλανᾶσθε μὴ τὰς γραφὰς μηδὲ τὴν δύναμιν τοῦ θεοῦ
  30. 30But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,ἐν γὰρ τῇ ἀναστάσει οὔτε γαμοῦσιν οὔτε ἀλλ’ ὡς ἄγγελοι ⸀θεοῦ ἐν ⸀τῷ οὐρανῷ εἰσιν
  31. 31I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.περὶ δὲ τῆς ἀναστάσεως τῶν νεκρῶν οὐκ ἀνέγνωτε τὸ ῥηθὲν ὑμῖν ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ λέγοντος
  32. 32And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεὸς Ἀβραὰμ καὶ ὁ θεὸς Ἰσαὰκ καὶ ὁ θεὸς Ἰακώβ οὐκ ἔστιν ⸂ὁ θεὸς⸃ νεκρῶν ἀλλὰ ζώντων
  33. 33But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ
  34. 34Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,Οἱ δὲ Φαρισαῖοι ἀκούσαντες ὅτι ἐφίμωσεν τοὺς Σαδδουκαίους συνήχθησαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό
  35. 35Master, which is the great commandment in the law?καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν νομικὸς πειράζων ⸀αὐτόν
  36. 36Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.Διδάσκαλε ποία ἐντολὴ μεγάλη ἐν τῷ νόμῳ
  37. 37This is the first and great commandment.ὁ ⸀δὲ ἔφη αὐτῷ Ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐν ὅλῃ ⸀τῇ καρδίᾳ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ ⸁τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ διανοίᾳ σου
  38. 38And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.αὕτη ἐστὶν ⸂ἡ μεγάλη καὶ πρώτη⸃ ἐντολή

  43. 43The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?λέγει αὐτοῖς Πῶς οὖν ἐν πνεύματι ⸂καλεῖ αὐτὸν κύριον⸃ λέγων
