- 1After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.אַחֲרֵי כֵ֗ן פָּתַ֤ח אִיּוֹב֙ אֶת פִּ֔יהוּ וַיְקַלֵּ֖ל אֶת יוֹמֽוֹ

Job 3 original-language research
The Hebrew lines shown beneath the KJV text come from the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible (OSHB) data in YHWSA. The chapter vocabulary below is ranked from verse-level Strong's tagging; grammatical particles are omitted so meaningful terms remain visible.

not (the qualified negation, used as a deprecative); once (Job 24:25) as a noun, nothing

Hebrew verse gematria
YHWSA calculates these totals directly from every consonant in the tagged Hebrew source line using the Carlo Suarès letter-number system; vowel points and cantillation marks do not add values. The totals are not reverse-mapped from English. A matching number is a comparison to investigate, not proof that two passages mean the same thing.
