  1. 1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.וְאֵ֨לֶּה֙ תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת בְּנֵי נֹ֔חַ שֵׁ֖ם חָ֣ם וָיָ֑פֶת וַיִּוָּלְד֥וּ בָּנִ֖ים אַחַ֥ר הַמַּבּֽוּל
  2. 2The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.בְּנֵ֣י יֶ֔פֶת גֹּ֣מֶר וּמָג֔וֹג וּמָדַ֖י וְיָוָ֣ן וְתֻבָ֑ל וּמֶ֖שֶׁךְ וְתִירָֽס
  3. 3And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.וּבְנֵ֖י גֹּ֑מֶר אַשְׁכֲּנַ֥ז וְרִיפַ֖ת וְתֹגַרְמָֽה
  4. 4And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.וּבְנֵ֥י יָוָ֖ן אֱלִישָׁ֣ה וְתַרְשִׁ֑ישׁ כִּתִּ֖ים וְדֹדָנִֽים
  5. 5By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.מֵ֠אֵלֶּה נִפְרְד֞וּ אִיֵּ֤י הַגּוֹיִם֙ בְּאַרְצֹתָ֔ם אִ֖ישׁ לִלְשֹׁנ֑וֹ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם בְּגוֹיֵהֶֽם
  6. 6And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.וּבְנֵ֖י חָ֑ם כּ֥וּשׁ וּמִצְרַ֖יִם וּפ֥וּט וּכְנָֽעַן
  7. 7And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.וּבְנֵ֣י כ֔וּשׁ סְבָא֙ וַֽחֲוִילָ֔ה וְסַבְתָּ֥ה וְרַעְמָ֖ה וְסַבְתְּכָ֑א וּבְנֵ֥י רַעְמָ֖ה שְׁבָ֥א וּדְדָֽן
  8. 8And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.וְכ֖וּשׁ יָלַ֣ד אֶת נִמְרֹ֑ד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לִֽהְי֥וֹת גִּבֹּ֖ר בָּאָֽרֶץ
  9. 9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.הֽוּא הָיָ֥ה גִבֹּֽר צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה עַל כֵּן֙ יֵֽאָמַ֔ר כְּנִמְרֹ֛ד גִּבּ֥וֹר צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה
  10. 10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.וַתְּהִ֨י רֵאשִׁ֤ית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ֙ בָּבֶ֔ל וְאֶ֖רֶךְ וְאַכַּ֣ד וְכַלְנֵ֑ה בְּאֶ֖רֶץ שִׁנְעָֽר
  11. 11Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,מִן הָאָ֥רֶץ הַהִ֖וא יָצָ֣א אַשּׁ֑וּר וַיִּ֨בֶן֙ אֶת נִ֣ינְוֵ֔ה וְאֶת רְחֹבֹ֥ת עִ֖יר וְאֶת כָּֽלַח
  12. 12And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.וְֽאֶת רֶ֔סֶן בֵּ֥ין נִֽינְוֵ֖ה וּבֵ֣ין כָּ֑לַח הִ֖וא הָעִ֥יר הַגְּדֹלָֽה
  13. 13And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,וּמִצְרַ֡יִם יָלַ֞ד אֶת לוּדִ֧ים וְאֶת עֲנָמִ֛ים וְאֶת לְהָבִ֖ים וְאֶת נַפְתֻּחִֽים
  14. 14And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.וְֽאֶת פַּתְרֻסִ֞ים וְאֶת כַּסְלֻחִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצְא֥וּ מִשָּׁ֛ם פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים וְאֶת כַּפְתֹּרִֽים
  15. 15And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,וּכְנַ֗עַן יָלַ֛ד אֶת צִידֹ֥ן בְּכֹר֖וֹ וְאֶת חֵֽת
  16. 16And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,וְאֶת הַיְבוּסִי֙ וְאֶת הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י וְאֵ֖ת הַגִּרְגָּשִֽׁי
  17. 17And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,וְאֶת הַֽחִוִּ֥י וְאֶת הַֽעַרְקִ֖י וְאֶת הַסִּינִֽי
  18. 18And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.וְאֶת הָֽאַרְוָדִ֥י וְאֶת הַצְּמָרִ֖י וְאֶת הַֽחֲמָתִ֑י וְאַחַ֣ר נָפֹ֔צוּ מִשְׁפְּח֖וֹת הַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽי
  19. 19And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.וַֽיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ מִצִּידֹ֔ן בֹּאֲכָ֥ה גְרָ֖רָה עַד עַזָּ֑ה בֹּאֲכָ֞ה סְדֹ֧מָה וַעֲמֹרָ֛ה וְאַדְמָ֥ה וּצְבֹיִ֖ם עַד לָֽשַׁע
  20. 20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.אֵ֣לֶּה בְנֵי חָ֔ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם לִלְשֹֽׁנֹתָ֑ם בְּאַרְצֹתָ֖ם בְּגוֹיֵהֶֽם
  21. 21Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.וּלְשֵׁ֥ם יֻלַּ֖ד גַּם ה֑וּא אֲבִי֙ כָּל בְּנֵי עֵ֔בֶר אֲחִ֖י יֶ֥פֶת הַגָּדֽוֹל
  22. 22The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.בְּנֵ֥י שֵׁ֖ם עֵילָ֣ם וְאַשּׁ֑וּר וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד וְל֥וּד וַֽאֲרָֽם
  23. 23And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.וּבְנֵ֖י אֲרָ֑ם ע֥וּץ וְח֖וּל וְגֶ֥תֶר וָמַֽשׁ
  24. 24And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד יָלַ֣ד אֶת שָׁ֑לַח וְשֶׁ֖לַח יָלַ֥ד אֶת עֵֽבֶר
  25. 25And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.וּלְעֵ֥בֶר יֻלַּ֖ד שְׁנֵ֣י בָנִ֑ים שֵׁ֣ם הָֽאֶחָ֞ד פֶּ֗לֶג כִּ֤י בְיָמָיו֙ נִפְלְגָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ וְשֵׁ֥ם אָחִ֖יו יָקְטָֽן
  26. 26And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,וְיָקְטָ֣ן יָלַ֔ד אֶת אַלְמוֹדָ֖ד וְאֶת שָׁ֑לֶף וְאֶת חֲצַרְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת יָֽרַח
  27. 27And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,וְאֶת הֲדוֹרָ֥ם וְאֶת אוּזָ֖ל וְאֶת דִּקְלָֽה
  28. 28And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,וְאֶת עוֹבָ֥ל וְאֶת אֲבִֽימָאֵ֖ל וְאֶת שְׁבָֽא

  30. 30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.וַֽיְהִ֥י מוֹשָׁבָ֖ם מִמֵּשָׁ֑א בֹּאֲכָ֥ה סְפָ֖רָה הַ֥ר הַקֶּֽדֶם
