  3. 3The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֗ה עֵ֤ר וְאוֹנָן֙ וְשֵׁלָ֔ה שְׁלוֹשָׁה֙ נ֣וֹלַד מִבַּת שׁ֖וּעַ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑ית וַיְהִ֞י עֵ֣ר בְּכ֣וֹר יְהוּדָ֗ה רַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה וַיְמִיתֵֽהוּ
  4. 4And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.וְתָמָר֙ כַּלָּת֔וֹ יָ֥לְדָה אֶת פֶּ֣רֶץ וְאֶת זָ֑רַח כָּל בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה חֲמִשָּֽׁה
  5. 5The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.בְּנֵי פֶ֖רֶץ חֶצְר֥וֹן וְחָמֽוּל
  6. 6And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.וּבְנֵ֣י זֶ֗רַח זִ֠מְרִי וְאֵיתָ֧ן וְהֵימָ֛ן וְכַלְכֹּ֥ל וָדָ֖רַע כֻּלָּ֥ם חֲמִשָּֽׁה
  7. 7And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.וּבְנֵ֖י כַּרְמִ֑י עָכָר֙ עוֹכֵ֣ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָעַ֖ל בַּחֵֽרֶם
  8. 8And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.וּבְנֵ֥י אֵיתָ֖ן עֲזַרְיָֽה
  9. 9The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.וּבְנֵ֥י חֶצְר֖וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר נוֹלַד אֶת יְרַחְמְאֵ֥ל וְאֶת רָ֖ם וְאֶת כְּלוּבָֽי
  10. 10And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;וְרָ֖ם הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת עַמִּינָדָ֑ב וְעַמִּינָדָב֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת נַחְשׁ֔וֹן נְשִׂ֖יא בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה
  11. 11And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,וְנַחְשׁוֹן֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת שַׂלְמָ֔א וְשַׂלְמָ֖א הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת בֹּֽעַז
  12. 12And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,וּבֹ֨עַז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת עוֹבֵ֔ד וְעוֹבֵ֖ד הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת יִשָֽׁי
  13. 13And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,וְאִישַׁ֛י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת בְּכֹר֖וֹ אֶת אֱלִיאָ֑ב וַאֲבִינָדָב֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְשִׁמְעָ֖א הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי

  15. 15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:אֹ֚צֶם הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י דָּוִ֖יד הַשְּׁבִעִֽי
  16. 16Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.ואחיתיהם וְאַחְיוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם צְרוּיָ֣ה וַאֲבִיגָ֑יִל וּבְנֵ֣י צְרוּיָ֗ה אַבְשַׁ֛י וְיוֹאָ֥ב אֵ֖ל שְׁלֹשָֽׁה
  17. 17And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.וַאֲבִיגַ֕יִל יָלְדָ֖ה אֶת עֲמָשָׂ֑א וַאֲבִ֣י עֲמָשָׂ֔א יֶ֖תֶר הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִֽי
  18. 18And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.וְכָלֵ֣ב בֶּן חֶצְר֗וֹן הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת עֲזוּבָ֥ה אִשָּׁ֖ה וְאֶת יְרִיע֑וֹת וְאֵ֣לֶּה בָנֶ֔יהָ יֵ֥שֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָ֖ב וְאַרְדּֽוֹן
  19. 19And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.וַתָּ֖מָת עֲזוּבָ֑ה וַיִּֽקַּֽח כָלֵב֙ אֶת אֶפְרָ֔ת וַתֵּ֥לֶד אֶת חֽוּר
  20. 20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.וְחוּר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת אוּרִ֔י וְאוּרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת בְּצַלְאֵֽל
  21. 21And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.וְאַחַ֗ר בָּ֤א חֶצְרוֹן֙ אֶל בַּת מָכִיר֙ אֲבִ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד וְה֣וּא לְקָחָ֔הּ וְה֖וּא בֶּן שִׁשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַתֵּ֥לֶד אֶת שְׂגֽוּב
  22. 22And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.וּשְׂג֖וּב הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת יָאִ֑יר וַֽיְהִי עֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ עָרִ֔ים בְּאֶ֖רֶץ הַגִּלְעָֽד
  23. 23And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.וַיִּקַּ֣ח גְּשֽׁוּר וַ֠אֲרָם אֶת חַוֺּ֨ת יָאִ֧יר מֵאִתָּ֛ם אֶת קְנָ֥ת וְאֶת בְּנֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁשִּׁ֣ים עִ֑יר כָּל אֵ֕לֶּה בְּנֵ֖י מָכִ֥יר אֲבִי גִלְעָֽד
  24. 24And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.וְאַחַ֥ר מוֹת חֶצְר֖וֹן אֶפְרָ֑תָה וְאֵ֤שֶׁת חֶצְרוֹן֙ אֲבִיָּ֔ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד אֶת אַשְׁח֖וּר אֲבִ֥י תְקֽוֹעַ
  25. 25And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.וַיִּהְי֧וּ בְנֵי יְרַחְמְאֵ֛ל בְּכ֥וֹר חֶצְר֖וֹן הַבְּכ֣וֹר רָ֑ם וּבוּנָ֥ה וָאֹ֛רֶן וָאֹ֖צֶם אֲחִיָּֽה
  26. 26Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.וַתְּהִ֨י אִשָּׁ֥ה אַחֶ֛רֶת לִֽירַחְמְאֵ֖ל וּשְׁמָ֣הּ עֲטָרָ֑ה הִ֖יא אֵ֥ם אוֹנָֽם
  27. 27And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.וַיִּהְי֥וּ בְנֵי רָ֖ם בְּכ֣וֹר יְרַחְמְאֵ֑ל מַ֥עַץ וְיָמִ֖ין וָעֵֽקֶר
  28. 28And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.וַיִּהְי֥וּ בְנֵי אוֹנָ֖ם שַׁמַּ֣י וְיָדָ֑ע וּבְנֵ֣י שַׁמַּ֔י נָדָ֖ב וַאֲבִישֽׁוּר
  29. 29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.וְשֵׁ֛ם אֵ֥שֶׁת אֲבִישׁ֖וּר אֲבִיהָ֑יִל וַתֵּ֣לֶד אֶת אַחְבָּ֖ן וְאֶת מוֹלִֽיד
  30. 30And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.וּבְנֵ֥י נָדָ֖ב סֶ֣לֶד וְאַפָּ֑יִם וַיָּ֥מָת סֶ֖לֶד לֹ֥א בָנִֽים
  31. 31And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.וּבְנֵ֥י אַפַּ֖יִם יִשְׁעִ֑י וּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׁעִי֙ שֵׁשָׁ֔ן וּבְנֵ֥י שֵׁשָׁ֖ן אַחְלָֽי
  32. 32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.וּבְנֵ֤י יָדָע֙ אֲחִ֣י שַׁמַּ֔י יֶ֖תֶר וְיוֹנָתָ֑ן וַיָּ֥מָת יֶ֖תֶר לֹ֥א בָנִֽים
  33. 33And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.וּבְנֵ֥י יוֹנָתָ֖ן פֶּ֣לֶת וְזָזָ֑א אֵ֥לֶּה הָי֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יְרַחְמְאֵֽל
  34. 34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.וְלֹֽא הָיָ֧ה לְשֵׁשָׁ֛ן בָּנִ֖ים כִּ֣י אִם בָּנ֑וֹת וּלְשֵׁשָׁ֛ן עֶ֥בֶד מִצְרִ֖י וּשְׁמ֥וֹ יַרְחָֽע
  35. 35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.וַיִּתֵּ֨ן שֵׁשָׁ֧ן אֶת בִּתּ֛וֹ לְיַרְחָ֥ע עַבְדּ֖וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וַתֵּ֥לֶד אֶת עַתָּֽי
  36. 36And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,וְעַתַּי֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת נָתָ֔ן וְנָתָ֖ן הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת זָבָֽד
  37. 37And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,וְזָבָד֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת אֶפְלָ֔ל וְאֶפְלָ֖ל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת עוֹבֵֽד
  38. 38And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,וְעוֹבֵד֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת יֵה֔וּא וְיֵה֖וּא הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת עֲזַרְיָֽה
  39. 39And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,וַעֲזַרְיָה֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת חָ֔לֶץ וְחֶ֖לֶץ הֹלִ֥יד אֶת אֶלְעָשָֽׂה
  40. 40And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,וְאֶלְעָשָׂה֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת סִֽסְמָ֔י וְסִסְמַ֖י הֹלִ֥יד אֶת שַׁלּֽוּם
  41. 41And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.וְשַׁלּוּם֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת יְקַמְיָ֔ה וִֽיקַמְיָ֖ה הֹלִ֥יד אֶת אֱלִישָׁמָֽע
  42. 42Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.וּבְנֵ֤י כָלֵב֙ אֲחִ֣י יְרַחְמְאֵ֔ל מֵישָׁ֥ע בְּכֹר֖וֹ ה֣וּא אֲבִי זִ֑יף וּבְנֵ֥י מָרֵשָׁ֖ה אֲבִ֥י חֶבְרֽוֹן
  43. 43And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.וּבְנֵ֖י חֶבְר֑וֹן קֹ֥רַח וְתַפֻּ֖חַ וְרֶ֥קֶם וָשָֽׁמַע
  44. 44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.וְשֶׁ֣מַע הוֹלִ֔יד אֶת רַ֖חַם אֲבִ֣י יָרְקֳעָ֑ם וְרֶ֖קֶם הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת שַׁמָּֽי

  46. 46And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.וְעֵיפָה֙ פִּילֶ֣גֶשׁ כָּלֵ֔ב יָֽלְדָ֛ה אֶת חָרָ֥ן וְאֶת מוֹצָ֖א וְאֶת גָּזֵ֑ז וְחָרָ֖ן הֹלִ֥יד אֶת גָּזֵֽז
  47. 47And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.וּבְנֵ֖י יָהְדָּ֑י רֶ֧גֶם וְיוֹתָ֛ם וְגֵישָׁ֥ן וָפֶ֖לֶט וְעֵיפָ֥ה וָשָֽׁעַף
  48. 48Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.פִּלֶ֤גֶשׁ כָּלֵב֙ מַעֲכָ֔ה יָ֥לַד שֶׁ֖בֶר וְאֶֽת תִּרְחֲנָֽה
  49. 49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.וַתֵּ֗לֶד שַׁ֚עַף אֲבִ֣י מַדְמַנָּ֔ה אֶת שְׁוָ֛א אֲבִ֥י מַכְבֵּנָ֖ה וַאֲבִ֣י גִבְעָ֑א וּבַת כָּלֵ֖ב עַכְסָֽה
